Baking Basics 101 is Now Available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese

You asked, we listened! The course has been updated and is now available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and features audio narration in each of these languages.  

The Baking Basics 101 is a one-hour onboarding course that introduces the fundamental knowledge, skills, areas of responsibility, and behaviors to complement any wholesale baking facility's current operations and procedures.

New Specialized Course - Tortilla Lesson is Now Available

The Tortillas Course focuses on the production processes of flour and corn tortillas. The lesson materials include unique product characteristics, ingredients, processing variations, troubleshooting causes/solutions, acceptable ranges of production settings, and features of a "good" finished product.

Course Structure:

  • Course Completion time: 3 hours total, up to six weeks to finish.

  • Students/employees receive dynamic, interactive, baking-specific training with built-in knowledge checks to test understanding.

  • Two lesson modules: Flour and Corn - See attached syllabus

  • Two final tests (per lesson module) require a 90% GPA or higher to receive a certificate of completion.
